Nossa História

O Expresso Rural é um dos maiores ícones da música catarinense, surgido em Florianópolis em 1981 durante o auge dos festivais estudantis. O grupo ficou conhecido pela combinação singular de rock rural, pop progressivo e influências do country, inspirados por bandas como 14 Bis e Boca Livre.

Origens

O terceiro disco foi lançado em um projeto especial em conjunto com a banda Tubarão.

Após um período de pausa, a banda retornou em 2005 para um especial de TV, interrompido pelo falecimento de Márcio Correa. Finalmente, em 2007, voltaram ao palco no Teatro do CIC em Florianópolis, celebrando seus 25 anos com sucessos em versões acústicas e uma mini turnê, retomando definitivamente seu legado na música catarinense.

Mudanças e Novas Experiências
Consolidação e Reconhecimento

Formada originalmente por Daniel Lucena (voz), Vonei Varaschim (guitarra), Zeca Petry (violões), Paulo Back (baixo), Marcos Ghiorzi (bateria), com participação de Tairone Mandeli e Sérgio Bassit nos sopros, a banda rapidamente conquistou público e crítica com melodias marcantes, harmonias vocais e composições únicas.

Os Primeiros Sucessos

Em 1983 lançaram seu primeiro disco, "Nas Manhãs do Sul do Mundo". Nesse período, Márcio Correa entrou como tecladista, enquanto Zeca Petry saiu do grupo, que passou a se chamar apenas "Expresso".

Em seguida, lançaram o LP "Certos Amigos" (1984-85) e realizaram uma breve experiência na Espanha.
